Free Mp3 Wma Converter is a small but powerful application designed to help you change the file format of your favorite audio files.

The program allows you to convert between several well known file formats: MP3, AAC, OGG, WAV, APE and WMA. All the output file formats are customizable (recommended for advanced users): for example for the AAC format you get to choose parameters such as: quality, bitrate (kbits/s), profile, bandwidth, MPEG 2/MPEG 4, temporal noise shaping, etc.

The interface has a nice layout and the program is extremely easy to use. The beginners can use the default settings for encoding their audio file to different formats, so basically they only need to add the selected files for conversion and hit 'Convert'. The Conversion process is very fast and the program is very stable. As for MP3 formats, there's an ID3v1 and ID3v2 editing option available.

Pluses: The batch conversion option: you can add a list of files with different extensions, choose your favorite output format and the program will convert them in no time.

The multi language support is another plus: the program is available in 23 languages so far. It comes bundled with a free CD ripper and an audio editing program which is shareware.

Drawbacks / flaws:

In conclusion: I was quite impressed by the quality of this free program. All the features work flawlessly, fast and the output files are as they should be.
